Biden and Palin's one shot at debating each other - what do you think??

I think that Sarah Palin is struggling because of her long answers. She tends to dodge the exact question and ramble on about either her past accomplishments or John McCain's past accomplishments. Joe Biden seems more prepared and ready for the questions. He answers the questions, and he does continue to talk, but unlike Palin, his long answers have to do with the initial question.

Good call, Elissa - a frequent criticism of Palin. She says too much and then it gets confusing....

I thought Biden was the clear winner of this debate unlike in the first presidential debate where it was hard to see a clear winner. I think what really helped Biden was his connection to the American people when he referred back to the tragic death of his first wife and daughter, and the struggle of bringing up his children on his own. I think this proved him to be that person Palin prides herself on, that "hockey mom" and I think that that one touching moment really helped people see that he too, can be personable and relate with the American people.

Bouch! i just registered to vote in a swing state (Indiana)! Things are gettin' crazy here, so i had to tune into the debate.

Palin's winks worry me a bit and indicate that she lacks the confidence to win an argument on logic alone. To me their attempts to label themselves and others seemed obvious and neausiating, when Biden was all, "Scranton, scranton, Scranton." and Palin was all, "If you go to a soccer game this weekend.."

I thought she was a hockey mom. Flip-flopper.
