My prediction is that Rod Blagojevich - despite much opposition - will be reelected as Governor of IL in November. He will use recent actions such as Open Road Tolling, housing Hurricane Katrina victims, and guaranteed healthcare for children to his advantage.
Great point, archigeek88, on the open road tolling issue. It's pretty nice now, but it was a major pain during the many months of construction. I wonder if it's really making any difference overall in traffic? Anyway, how about some 2006 political predictions from the rest of you?
Thanks, Morgan - good idea! Here's a link for Illinois candidates: http://www.politics1.com/il.htm Also, if you go to the directory at the top of the politics1 website, there's fun stuff about the 2008 prez election and other interesting stuff... enjoy!
